Bilingual (Spanish and English) opportunity. Hands-on technical role supporting mining industry clients with enterprise software deployments across North, Central and South America. Based in Vancouver, must have Canadian working rights. 

Technical Skills: 

• Bachelor of IT or equivalent.
• Experienced with Windows OS, SQL Server, Web and Desktop Application Servers, Microservice technology, messaging platforms, application and network security, SSL/TLS configuration and certificate management, scripting languages. Authentication mechanisms,
• Other systems – Microsoft APPX, Octopus Package Deployment, JIRA, Confluence.
• Significant knowledge of tools, techniques and methods used to ensure the ongoing operation of enterprise systems including web applications, database systems, service and event-based architecture and integrated mobile applications.
• Experienced with software change management procedures including recovery and rollback.
• Bilingual – fluent in Spanish and English

As the Deployment and Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for working with clients across the US, Canada, Mexico, Chile, Peru, and Colombia to deploy Deswik’s licensed enterprise products. This will involve configuration, supporting clients with infrastructure updates, and providing ongoing support. There will also be a technical pre-sales element to this role.

Deployment and Technical Engineer:

• Advise clients on Deswik software deployments, working with IT departments to scope, provision, configure, monitor, and maintain their infrastructure.
• Be hands-on in deployments and configurations. You may need to perform these tasks for the customer.
• Incident management – troubleshooting and resolution.
• Prepare and review the technical elements of sales proposals.
