As our Software Architect, you will work with senior technical staff across the business to build architectural approaches for the development of Deswik's commercial software.  

• Convert captured requirements into an architecture and design (which will become the blueprint for our solution)
• Create and apply standard approaches and best practices
• Incorporate broader business and technology context to deliver efficient end-to-end architecture solutions
• Work cooperatively with a variety of stakeholders, including software development teams, product managers, technical directors and support staff
• Mentor and coach our software development teams towards an excellent implementation of the architecture  
• Collaborate with, review and approve consulting team solution designs and sales proposals
• Trial new approaches to assess and recommend their suitability for inclusion in mainline product offerings

Technical Skills: 

• Significant experience with software architectural approaches in a commercial development house
• C/C++ or C# .NET
• Proven experience across Microsoft Servers, SQL, Citrix XenApp, networking, visualisation and WAN accelerators
• Skilled in data modelling and integration design
• Clear and proactive communicator
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and genuine passion
