Your Technical Skills and Experience:    
Required

• Bachelor of IT, Computer Science, Engineering (or a related discipline).
• 2+ years of commercial software development experience
• Python expertise

Nice-to-have

• C++ experience
• Familiarity with AWS
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile environments
• Git expertise
• Exposure to mathematical optimisation or linear programming  

The Role

• Develop and maintain commercial software that helps clients solve planning and scheduling-related optimisation problems.
• Work on productising areas of the software, updating and creating features, and be mentored by a highly experienced and knowledgeable team.
• Write high-quality, performant, maintainable, testable code that you take pride in.
• Take part in code review processes, use source control, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Use Jira for the management of tickets.
• Use the following tech stack: Python, C++, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, Pandas, Plot.ly, Docker, Gurobi, Git, GitHub Actions and AWS
