Supporting Women in STEM

Deswik is a proud partner of the Austmine Women in STEM: METS Career Pathway Program.

Austmine is the leading industry body in Australia for the mining equipment, technology and services (METS) sector. Through the Women in STEM: METS Career Pathway program, Austmine aims to support and promote women in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) while improving gender diversity in the METS sector. The program will connect METS members and universities to help foster stronger linkages between female STEM students and a METS career.

In joining this program, Deswik provides students with real-world experience, mentoring and soft skills training to prepare them for successful STEM careers in the METS sector.

Through these education partnerships, we provide software licenses, training material, tutorial videos and on-site workshops.
