Wally to the rescue
Wally is Deswik’s virtual presence robot, typically used for involving remote employees in team meetings. In 2017, Wally spent some time with 10-year old Brodie, a student at Ferny Grove State School who was battling leukemia and undergoing chemotherapy.
Supporting Women in STEM
Deswik is a proud partner of the Austmine Women in STEM: METS Career Pathway Program. Through this program, we provide students with real-world experience, mentoring and soft skills training to prepare them for successful STEM careers in the METS sector.
School of Mine partnership inspires educators and students alike
