Come join our Brisbane team as a Senior Mining Consultant in the Enterprise Software team. We are looking for an experienced Deswik software user whose primary expertise us in underground metals, with plenty of operational experience (ideally across a variety of roles).
  
What You’ll Do:

• Work with Deswik’s highly specialised mine planning software (with a focus on Deswik.OPS and Deswik.MDM products), across multiple customers, commodities, mine types and operations.
• Bring your operational experience and solid technical skills to the task of providing consulting services to customers across a range of phases in the execution of enterprise project roll-outs.
• Deliver advanced engineering efficiency to the mining industry through customised software, consulting and training solutions.
• Work productively alongside highly experienced engineers and software professionals in a dedicated and focused team environment

There will be periodic site travel for scoping, training and implementation of software. 

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years’ experience as an underground metals mining engineer
• Operational experience in site-based roles - ideally including practical underground experience
• Demonstrated competency in mine design, scheduling and production roles. Some supervisory experience will be highly regarded.
• An experienced Deswik user in CAD|IS|Schedule (and ideally in OPS and MDM)
• An aptitude for clear communication (verbal and written), ability to influence and manage customer relationships.
• A passion for innovation and a desire to grow and learn.
• Delivers what they promise to a high standard
• Exposure to open pit mining / operations would be beneficial but not essential.
